Catherine is a Solicitor of Tiang & Partners with substantial private practice corporate experience representing PRC and Hong Kong-based investors and companies in Hong Kong Stock Exchange listings, post-listing compliance matters, merger and acquisitions, business restructuring and reorganisations. Catherine previously represented companies from different industries for Hong Kong Stock Exchange listings.

Catherine also regularly advised clients on employment and data privacy legal issues, as well as employee share incentive schemes for both listed and private companies.

Catherine qualified as a Hong Kong solicitor in 2018. She holds a JD and a PCLL from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

  • Advising various Hong Kong listed company clients including LifeTech Scientific (HK:1302) and Justin Allen Holdings (HK:1425) on post-listing compliance matters.
  • Advising a subsidiary of a Hong Kong listed company (which is primarily engaged in export trading business) on the intragroup restructuring.
  • Advising a well-known multi-national group on intra-group restructuring of its Hong Kong subsidiary.
  • Advising various Hong Kong listed companies in designing senior management and employee equity incentive plans.
  • Advising a Japanese catering company in designing their employee equity incentive plan.
  • Assisting in the overall legal payroll review for a Hong Kong listed PRC incorporated corporation engaged in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Advising various multi-national companies on employment termination legal issues.
  • Advising MNCs on data privacy matters in relation to compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and General Data Protection Regulation.
