Joseph is a Partner at Tiang & Partners. Joseph was consistently ranked a Tier 1 banking and finance lawyer in China and Hong Kong. He has led numerous high profile and award winning transactions. Immediately before joining us, Joseph was the Senior Partner, Greater China of Allen & Overy for six years with overall management responsibilities for their China practices. He became their Head of Banking, Asia in 2001 and held that position for six years. Joseph has legal qualifications in Hong Kong, England and Wales and Australia (New South Wales and ACT). He speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

- Acting for Wanhua Industrial Group (a leading chemicals company majority owned by the Yantai Government in Shandong) in connection with the EUR1.23 billion acquisition of BorsodChem (the largest chemicals company in Hungary). This was the first overseas acquisition by a PRC company effected through a debt acquisition strategy and a subsequent debt restructuring.
- Acting for The Export-Import Bank of China (China EximBank) in connection with the US$2.45 billion limited recourse project financing of a major resort and entertainment project in the Bahamas.
